"My Gal Sal" Update

There have been a number of questions regarding the restoration of “My Gal Sal”.  I can assure you that it is still going on and each week we get a little more done.  We haven’t had a chance to take many pictures because the work we are doing now is all internal and going very slowly.  Oxygen lines are being run, wiring harnesses installed, and a tremendous amount of work is being done on the bomb bay.  Weekly photos would not show a lot.  We are dealing in inches and that’s hard to show in photographs.

Even though progress is slow, it’s progress.  When we are finished “Sal” will be one awesome B-17.  We estimate three to four months before she will be ready to assemble.  We should be ready to provide more photographs in the next couple weeks.
