"My Gal Sal" Update

Recently I have been criticized by some for not putting more information on our web site.  The fact of the matter is that most of the work is now being done on the interior rather than the exterior of the airplane.  We have done less work because of the very hot summer we have experienced.  I don’t think anyone can appreciate trying to work within the confines of this airplane when temperatures reach 100°.

In the next few weeks we will be putting a few pictures on our web site of the work we have completed on the interior.  But, be assured that “My Gal Sal” is being, and will be restored. 

 The most important part of this story is not the restoration, but what she will symbolize when placed within the memorial that will eventually be built to pay tribute to the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice during WWII.
