Original skin showing star will be used as a template for new skin to be applied.

New skin being set in place with clecos . 

Intercom system and gun mount being reinstalled on new ribs.  

Rivets now replace clecos.

A new volunteer has joined the ranks in the restoration. (Gary's grandson).

We have found different signatures throughout the fuselage from the Boeing crew who built her.

Lots of rivets to put "My Gal Sal" back together.

New skin applied to the aft section underside.

Right side needs a little more skin and a couple of wrinkles removed.

Most of the left side has new skin.

Ball turret is put in place.

Interior beginning to look like a B-17.

Some sheet metal work still needs to be done on the tail gunners section.
