Can You Help Bring Back History

Need Your Help!!!

As in every restoration of this magnitude, there are always things that are missing.  Even though we were very fortunate that most of "My Gal Sal's" parts were recovered, we are still missing a few items that we would love to have.   To complete the restoration these parts are listed as follow:

# 1    "Sal's" Ball Turret was sheared off in the "wheels up" landing on the glacier.  We would like to find one to put on display with "Sal".

#2    A number of "Sal's" rear cowl panels were badly damaged.  We could use four full sets or individual panels.   Every one we find could help.

#3    In the radio room there were as many as three crew chairs.  We have one for the radio operator.  We are looking for at least one more (two would be great).  The seat shell would help a great deal; we can build the seat mount.

If you can help with any of these items, we would greatly appreciate it.  If you would like to donate any of these items to the "Ultimate Sacrifice Memorial", a 501C non-profit foundation, you would be eligible for a tax credit.  I would also be happy to purchase the item if reasonably priced.
