"My Gal Sal" Update

The restoration of “My Gal Sal” continues at a slow pace.  It’s all detail work and a lot of fine-tuning.  It won’t be long before we bolt the back section to the front section.  When this is done we will be able to finish the interior of the fuselage.

 On behalf of the volunteers, I would like to wish you all a safe, peaceful and happy holiday season.

This small display case contains memorabilia from each of the four B-17 crew volunteers.  I have mounted this permanently on the cover of the main fuse box.  The four WWII volunteers are made up of three pilots and a tail gunner.

Sal had flotation cushions on all crew seats.  We had new ones made in the exact detail.

All the crew mannequins are now on display.
