What's New

Over the past few months there have been a number of comments regarding "My Gal Sal's" restoration.  There seems to be a number of people who feel that she should be restored to flying condition.  There are others who feel that if she is built as a static display she should be on her main gear.

I would like to clarify that she is not, and will not, be restored to flying condition and will not be displayed on her main gear.  The project that we have undertaken is far greater than the restoration of "My Gal Sal".  "Sal" is being built as a symbol to pay tribute to the many people who gave their lives in WWII.

Our facility will not be a museum, but a memorial.  We are so fortunate to have "My Gal Sal" as that symbol.  Her rarity and her historic value should be shown as she came to rest on June 27, 1942.

I hope you all understand that this is truly one of a kind and will be built as such.

The project continues to move forward rapidly; we have provided this page to help you keep up on all the latest developments.
