Time 5:30 pm local
Location On station anchored at crash site
After three days of
constant movement and travel, we are now settling down to the slow and methodical stage of
the search. Divers have been searching the area that locals claim the airplane may have
been while the Ocean Wrestler and the sonar crew have been running a search pattern on the
other side of the island that the crew claimed to have dropped their survival gear. As of
Tuesday evening, nothing can be concluded. The rest of the participants have been
observing or just plain
waiting! Waiting is the tough part. Divers report the water is RFC (real F.......g
cold). The weather appears to be getting a little better, but still occasional
drizzle. There is nothing to do now but watch the pros do their thing. Sonar operators
report all equipment is working well. Ice continues to drift into and out the area. Maybe
tomorrow..............
